The 108 Names of Goddess Lakṣmī

Awakening the Radiance Within

What does it mean to call the Divine Mother by 108 names?

Are we invoking Her — or awakening 108 reflections of our own divine potential?

Each name of Lakṣmī is a spark of consciousness — Śrī as grace, Padmā as purity, Vishṇupriyā as love. Together they weave the tapestry of abundance, beauty, and harmony that sustains creation.

Why 108? Because 108 is the rhythm of the cosmos — 108 beads on a mālā, 108 Upanishads, 108 pathways to wholeness. To chant these names is to move from outer seeking to inner blossoming, from invocation to realization.

The 108 Names of Lakṣmī are not distant praises —they are mirrors of the Goddess within you, reminding you that abundance, grace, and peace are your own true nature.

This Diwali, as lamps glow and hearts open, let your voice join the ancient current of Śrī Lakṣmī’s mantra vibrations. On Lakṣmī Pūjan (October 20th), take a few quiet moments to sit in stillness, light a diya, and chant the 108 Names of Lakṣmī — invoking her presence into your home, heart, and life.
